Once we become parents, a beautiful thing happens. We learn to shift our priorities from ourselves to our children and our family. It's a humbling shift and so rewarding. Just as you get into a nice groove of this journey, something else happens. It creeps up on you. (It did with me.) And you don't really know it's there until it hits you like a brick wall. Parenting-burnout. Similar to feeling burnt out from work, but with our parenting duties. Somewhere along the way, we forget to do things for ourselves to help us regroup and recharge. And working full-time makes it even harder to squeeze in some Me-Time | Us-Time.
